Take control of an agent's Workspace
Taking control pauses the agent and makes its Workspace yours to use. When you’re done, you give it back and the agent carries on.
An agent is booking a table and reaches a page that asks you to prove you’re human. You take control, finish the check, and hand the Workspace back.
- In the agent’s window, select Take control.
- Use the tabs as you would your own.
- Above the page, select Give Workspace back to and the agent’s name.
While you’re in control, the bar above the page says You control this Workspace.
Details
Section titled “Details”- Until you take control, your clicks and key presses stay out of the agent’s tabs. Your media keys play and pause your own media, and the agent’s pages get no input from a game controller and open no picture-in-picture window.
- Taking control covers the whole Workspace, every tab in it and every tab you open there, in every window that shows it.
- The agent can’t act anywhere in the Workspace until you give it back. Taking control ends what the agent was doing.
- While you’re in control, the tabs behave as your own. Sval doesn’t ask about sites, and your downloads and file choosers work as usual.
- In the Launcher, Give Workspace back does the same as the button.
- You keep control after you restart Sval, until you give the Workspace back.
- An agent can’t complete a check that asks whether you’re human. When a page asks for one, the card says so and asks you to take control.
- A Peek you open in the agent’s window belongs to the agent too, so the agent can read and use it.
