Reset a site's choices
Reset puts a site back on the defaults: its protections, video and audio, JavaScript, fingerprinting exceptions, permissions, and extension switches. Your cookies and sign-ins stay.
You turned off a site’s protections months ago and want to start again from Sval’s defaults.
- Open Settings › Sites.
- In Your sites, find the site. Find a site narrows the list.
- On the site’s row, select Reset.
The message Reset and the site’s name shows, with Undo.
Details
Section titled “Details”- When the site has parts of pages you removed, Sval asks first, because Reset deletes those rules from My filters. That Reset can’t be undone.
- Reset on an address listed under its site removes only that address’s choices. Everything then comes from the site again.
- Reset on a site leaves the choices of the addresses under it.
- Resetting syncs to your other devices.
- To also clear the site’s cookies, history, and everything else Sval keeps, forget it. See Forget a site.
