Turn on Archive idle tabs
When Archive idle tabs is on, Sval moves tabs you haven’t used for a set time out of their Workspace and into History, under Archived tabs. You can get any of them back from there.
Your Work Workspace fills up with tabs you opened once and never went back to. You want the old ones gone without closing each one yourself.

- A tab counts as used when you go to it, click in it, or type in it, and stay on it for a few seconds. A use on any of your devices counts.
- Sval never archives a tab that’s in a group, a tab you’re looking at in any window, or a tab that’s playing sound, kept awake with Keep Awake, in picture-in-picture or a call, or holding text you typed.
- A Split is archived only when all of its tabs are idle, and comes back whole.
- Keep archived tabs for sets how long History keeps an archived tab: 7, 30, or 90 days. It starts at 30 days.
- Both settings sync to your other devices.
- Tabs in a private window are never archived.
