Switch a window to another Workspace

The switcher at the top of the panel names the Workspace the window shows. Choosing another Workspace there swaps the window’s tabs for that Workspace’s tabs.

You’ve finished work for the day and want your Home tabs in the same window.

Steps

1. At the top of the panel, select the current Workspace’s name.
2. In the list, select the Workspace you want.

The panel shows that Workspace’s tabs and groups, and the window takes its color. You land on the tab you last looked at there on this device.

Details

• The list shows every Workspace except the one the window is showing.
• A Workspace that another window already shows stays in that window. When you choose it, Sval brings that window to the front and this window stays where it is.
• Tabs of the Workspace you left stay in it. They’re there when you switch back.
• On the keyboard, use the arrow keys to reach a Workspace in the list, then press Enter.
• In the menu bar, the Workspaces menu lists your Workspaces too.
