Go to an open tab from the Launcher
The Launcher lists your open tabs from every Workspace as you type. Picking one takes you to that tab, and to its Workspace if it’s in another one.
You remember reading a Codeberg issue this morning, but not which Workspace it’s in, and you have 40 tabs open.
- Press ⌘L (Ctrl+L on Windows and Linux).
- Type a few letters of the tab’s title or address.
- Under Open tabs, select the tab.
The window shows the tab. If the tab is in another Workspace, the window switches to that Workspace first.
Details
Section titled “Details”- With nothing typed, the Launcher lists the tabs you used most recently, under Recent tabs.
- A tab in another Workspace shows that Workspace’s emoji and name, in its color. The selected row reads Switch to and the Workspace’s name.
- A strong match for what you typed becomes the first row, so pressing Enter goes straight to it.
- Shift+Enter and ⌘⇧Enter (Ctrl+Shift+Enter) also switch to the tab. They never open a second copy of it.
- ⌥Enter (Alt+Enter) puts the tab next to the one you’re on, in a Split. A tab from another Workspace moves into this one to do that. Sval asks first when the move goes into or out of an isolated Workspace.
- Typing % and a space lists every open tab.
- Open tabs lists up to 4 tabs while you type. To change that, see Change what the Launcher lists.
