Delete a group

Deleting a group removes it from its Workspace. Sval asks whether its tabs move out of the group or go with it.

Your release shipped, and the group of Codeberg issues you kept for it can go.

  1. In the panel, right-click the group, then choose Delete group….
  2. Choose what happens to what’s inside it.
    • Move out of group keeps the tabs and groups inside it. They take the group’s place, in their order.
    • Delete all closes every tab inside it and deletes the groups in it.

The group leaves the panel, and a message at the bottom of the panel offers Undo for 8 seconds.

  • An empty group is deleted without the question.
  • With the group’s row focused, Delete or Backspace asks the same question.
  • Cancel has the focus in the dialog, so Enter or Escape keeps the group.
  • Until the Undo message goes, your other devices still have the group. Sval deletes it everywhere once the message goes.

You deleted the wrong group. Select Undo in the message at the bottom of the panel before it goes. See Undo closing tabs or deleting a group.
