Watch and stop an agent
Each session of an AI app works in its own Workspace, in a window of its own. You can bring that window forward to watch, and stop the agent at any time.
Claude Code is comparing laptop prices for you, and you see it heading to a store you don’t trust. You stop it before it goes further.
Watch an agent
Section titled “Watch an agent”- At the top of the panel, select the current Workspace’s name.
- Under Agent Workspaces, select the agent.
Sval brings the agent’s window to the front. A card in the middle of the window names the agent and says what it’s doing.
Stop an agent
Section titled “Stop an agent”- In the agent’s window, select Stop agent.
The card says You stopped and the agent’s name. Sval ends what the agent was doing, and every request it makes fails until you let it go on. Sval tells the agent that you stopped it.
Let it go on
Section titled “Let it go on”- In the agent’s window, select Resume.
Details
Section titled “Details”- The agent’s window opens behind the window you’re using, so it never takes your focus.
- While the agent works, the window is dimmed and your clicks and key presses don’t reach it. You can still move, resize, minimize, and close the window.
- Stop applies to the Workspace you’re watching. Other sessions of the same app go on working in their own Workspaces.
- A stopped agent stays stopped after you restart Sval.
- A stopped agent can’t make a new Workspace or move to another one until you select Resume.
- Be polite on the card limits the agent to a set number of actions a second on each site. It’s checked to begin with. Settings › Agents sets the number, which starts at 1.
- To stop every app at once, turn off Let AI agents on this computer use Sval in Settings › Agents.
