Keep a tab awake

Keep Awake stops Sval from putting a tab to sleep. Its page keeps running while you work in other Workspaces.

You keep a Roon tab running in Home, and want it to stay ready while you spend the day in Work.

Steps

1. In the panel, right-click the tab, then choose Keep Awake.

A check mark shows next to Keep Awake in the tab’s menu. If the tab was asleep, its page loads.

To let the tab sleep again, choose Keep Awake again.

Details

• A tab you keep awake stays loaded when its Workspace has been out of sight for hours, and when your computer runs low on memory.
• Put to Sleep leaves a tab you keep awake as it is.
• Keep Awake is on a single tab. A group’s menu doesn’t have it.
