Share your location with a site
When a site asks for your location, a location button shows next to the site controls, and you answer from there.
A map site asks where you are so it can show nearby shops.
- When the site asks, select the location button next to the site controls, if the prompt isn’t already open.
- Choose Allow or Block.
Change your answer later

While the site uses your location, the button is lit, and selecting it blocks location on that site. While location is blocked, the button is crossed out, and selecting it allows location on that site. Either way, the page reloads.
