Read an article in Reader View

Reader View shows an article’s text and pictures in a plain layout, without the site’s menus and ads.

You open a long article and want to read it without the sidebars.

Steps

1. On the article, select the Reader View button next to the address bar.

To leave Reader View, select the button again.

Details

• The button shows only on a page Sval can read as an article.
• The key is ⌥⌘R on macOS, F9 on Windows, and Ctrl+Alt+R on Linux.
• The Launcher’s Reader view command does the same.
• In a narrow window, the button moves into the » menu.
