Clear a site's cookies and data
Clearing a site’s cookies and site data signs you out of it.
A site keeps showing you an old version of your account, and signing out doesn’t help.
Clear it where you are
Section titled “Clear it where you are”- In the address bar, select the Privacy and Security button.
- Select Clear cookies and site data.
- Select Clear and reload.
The tab reloads, and you’re signed out of the site.
Clear it in every Workspace
Section titled “Clear it in every Workspace”- Open Settings › Sites.
- In Your sites, select the site’s row.
- Under Cookies and site data, select Clear everywhere.
- Select Clear and sign out.
Details
Section titled “Details”- The Privacy and Security button clears the site only where the tab keeps it. An isolated Workspace keeps its own cookies, and a private window keeps its own, so clearing in one leaves the others.
- On the site’s page, Cookies and site data lists each place that holds the site’s data, such as Shared Workspaces or an isolated Workspace, with a Clear button for each.
- Clearing doesn’t change the site’s protections or other choices. To clear those too, forget the site. See Forget a site.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- Not cleared. Sval couldn’t write to the disk. Select Try again on that row.
