Copy a Markdown link
Copy Markdown Link copies a tab’s page as a link written in Markdown: its title in square brackets, then its address in parentheses.
You’re writing release notes in a Codeberg issue and want to link the Fastmail thread where the plan was agreed.
- In the panel, right-click the tab, then choose Copy Markdown Link.
- Paste where you want the link.
For a page titled “Release plan” at https://codeberg.org/example, Sval
copies [Release plan](https://codeberg.org/example).
Details
Section titled “Details”- A page with no title uses its address as the link’s text.
- Sval escapes square brackets in the title, and parentheses in the address, so the link stays whole.
- Sval leaves out a user name or password written in the address.
- A sleeping tab copies the same link as an awake one.
- In the menu bar, the Tab menu has Copy Markdown Link too.
