Undo closing tabs or deleting a group
When you close several tabs at once, or delete a group, a pin, or a Workspace, a message at the bottom of the panel offers Undo for 8 seconds. Undo puts everything back where it was.
You closed four Codeberg tabs together, and one of them still had a review you hadn’t sent.
- At the bottom of the panel, in the message such as “Closed 4 tabs”, select Undo before the message goes.
The tabs, group, pin, or Workspace come back where they were.
Details
Section titled “Details”- ⌘Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows and Linux) also undoes while the message shows, unless the page or a text field has the focus. Those keep ⌘Z for their own undo.
- The message stays while the pointer is on it or it has the focus.
- Dismiss next to Undo closes the message and makes the change for good.
- Only the latest change can be undone. A new close or delete replaces the message, and makes the one before it for good.
- Closing the window or quitting Sval while the message shows makes the change for good.
- Your other devices hear of the change only once the message goes.
- Closing a single tab shows no message. ⇧⌘T (Ctrl+Shift+T on Windows and Linux) reopens the tab you closed last.
