Move the panel to the other side
The panel can sit on either side of the window, at any width between its narrowest and widest.
You’d rather have your tabs on the right, next to your mouse.
- Open Settings › Appearance.
- Under Panel side, choose Right, or Left.
The panel moves in every window.
Change the panel’s width
Section titled “Change the panel’s width”- Drag the panel’s edge, between the panel and the page.
Double-click the edge to put it back to its default width.
Details
Section titled “Details”- The side and the width are kept on each device. They don’t sync.
- The History sidebar opens on the side opposite the panel.
- From the keyboard, Tab to the panel’s edge, then use the arrow keys to resize it. Home and End make it narrowest and widest, and Enter puts it back to its default width.
- The widest the panel goes is a share of the window, so it changes with the window’s size.
